Area Comments
Famous, fashionable, and lively, Fulham is near to being the archetypical West London borough, and very desirable to live in.
Fulham caters to a broad swathe of London's community, with loyal locals as well as cool young people, and professionals making it their home. This is an area which is very proud of itself, of its social, fashionable status. There are excellent shops along North End Road and great local parks in Bishops and Hurlingham Parks, and very quick access into town, and the attraction of living close to the river.
Nightlife is a premium for many of the younger residents, and some of the best bars and clubs as well as excellent restaurants are everywhere. This is a destination not just for locals looking for a good time but for many in London, to whom a night out in Fulham is an event.
Of course, the area isn't just a place to have fun but one to live in as well. Fulham is competitive and desirable, both for flats and for houses. It's more known for flats of course, due to its history of housing students and young professionals. Whilst a good number of the large Victorian terraced houses are still whole properties, and extremely sought after, many are subdivided into flats - some lavish in size. There are also substantial developments on the river of new-build apartments affording excellent views over the water.
Fantastic for young couples or for professionals, catering to those loving great nights out and nights in, Fulham is a desirable and fun place to live.
