Two new schools to open in Hammersmith and Fulham in September
Two new schools are set to open near to properties to rent in the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham this September.
Ark Conway primary school is to be located in Shepherds Bush and it has already received 63 applications for its 60 places.
The West London Free School has received a massive 445 applications for its 120 places.
Also, the Hammersmith Academy on Goldhawk Road is set to open its doors this September.
Some 632 parents have already applied for the academy's 240 places.
"Parents are telling us loud and clear that they want the free school and the new academy and we are backing them all the way," said cabinet member for children's services at Hammersmith and Fulham Council Helen Binmore.
Earlier this week, the council reported that a painting by All Saints Primary School year-three pupil Honor Wright had been selected to adorn the walls of the Saatchi Gallery.
