New Stratford shopping centre 60pc let
A new shopping development near the Olympic Park has announced that it has already let 60 per cent of its retail space, long before it will begin welcoming visitors.
Westfield Stratford City, which is based near the revamped train interchange in the area, is due to open in around 18 months but can already confirm big name brands that have committed to opening premises in the £1.45 billion development.
Some of the biggest retailers to move in will include Next, Primark, Topshop, H & M and Espirit, which may interested many people who enjoy denting the credit card and looking to find a home to rent nearby.
Michael Gutman, Westfield UK and European managing director, said that with many of the larger brands mostly confirmed, focus will shift to speciality where he suggested there has also been significant demand.
News that many retailers have already signed leases for space at the new Westfield Stratford City development may encourage more people to consider looking for property to rent in the London borough of Newham as a result.
