Tenants in flats to rent in Camden could learn to swim
Tenants living in flats to rent in the London borough of Camden are being offered the opportunity to learn to swim for free.
Introductory sessions are being run at Kentish Town sports centre from Monday (December 13th) to Friday, as part of the area's Try Swimming programme.
People intending to don their water attire are advised there is no need to book ahead and they just need to bring something to wear, 20p for a locker and a towel.
A beginners session is being held on Monday from 12:00 GMT, while aqua aerobics and stretch, ton and relax classes are also being held during the week.
On Thursday, a gentle water exercise session may be of interest to people living in flats to rent as it involves a low impact cardiovascular workout.
Earlier this week, Mayor of London Boris Johnson said the extra funding that has been attributed to 18 sport ventures throughout the city would help 200,000 individuals engage in physical activities.
