Coldplay's £1m helps fund new charity centre in Camden
People who enjoy living in areas which focus on community and charity work may want to look at flats to rent in Camden, after the area has received backing from a band.
Coldplay have donated £1 million to the South London charity Kids Company, which provides practical and emotional support to children who come from deprived families in the city.
The band's donation will help fund the opening of a new centre in Camden, a place where individuals searching for flats to rent in Camden might want to get involved with through volunteer work.
A spokeswoman for Kids Company said: "[Coldplay] were inspired by the work they saw so decided to make this donation."
Camden Council recently announced that it has joined with the London 2012 Organising Committee to give residents the chance to choose the landmark which best showcases the borough.
Sites proposed include the Roundhouse, the British Museum, Camden Market and St Pancras Station, attractions which could highlight the advantages of renting in the borough.
