Buy-to-let landlords 'optimistic' about next quarter
People looking to rent property may be interested to read that landlord optimism is at its highest level since 2007, according to a survey.
The National Landlords Association (NLA), which represents around 19,000 members in the UK, released its Landlords Optimism Index which revealed how those in the letting industry feel confidence about the way the market is progressing.
In total, 57 per cent of respondents rated their overall prospects for the next three months as good or very good, which the NLA believes is down to increased tenant demand and a rise in property values.
The association's policy manager Chris Norris admitted that its members had faced a tricky period, but said the buy-to-let industry appears to be turning the corner.
News of increased landlord optimism for their lettings over the coming months may be encouraging news for people who are considering looking at property to rent in the London borough of Camden or elsewhere in the country.
