Waltham Forest residents to go to Olympic testing events?
Individuals looking at property to rent in Waltham Forest may be swayed by the knowledge they can apply for tickets for Olympic test events.
It will give residents the opportunity to experience the thrills of the Games - which get underway on July 27th - by watching four separate competitions.
Across April and May, the FINA Olympic Games Synchronised Swimming qualification, Men's Olympic Football Tournament qualification, Visa International Invitational Hockey Tournament and the Eton Manor Wheelchair Tennis International will be held at the Olympic Park.
Some 7,700 tickets are to be made available for the events and people can apply for them up until 48 hours before they get underway.
While applications for entry to the Games themselves have closed, there will be further opportunities for people to purchase tickets later in the year.
Those who are not lucky enough to get vouchers for the spectacle can still enjoy all the action on the Big Screen in Walthamstow Town Square.
