Marylebone a good place to rent in London?
People looking for property to rent in Central London are being told that market for buyers is busy, but that the cost of purchasing remains up near the heights of three years ago.
Writing for the Daily Telegraph, Paul Sulkin of Estate Agents Kay and Co said that in 2007 people were willing to fork out ten per cent over the asking price to own a flat in this area, but now they are happier to wait.
However, for those thinking of renting in Marylebone, perhaps there is good reason to look around these streets with plenty of local attractions, top restaurants, fashion boutiques as well as good schools for those looking to raise a family, he continued.
One such destination that might encourage more potential tenants looking property to rent in the London borough of City of Westminster into the area is the soon-to-be redeveloped Lord's Cricket Ground in St John's Wood.
The £400 million scheme is set to include a new museum, an exhibition space and numerous retail opportunities as well as extending the capacity of the stadium to almost 40,000 seats.
