Letting Agents in Willesden London NW10
Area Comments
Fantastic residential suburb, great for access and brilliant resources, Willesden is one of the primary locations of the inner Northwest. It's a superb alternative to Cricklewood or Brondesbury. It's perfect for first time buyers who want a good 19th century house or maisonette.
Willesden has excellent shopping, mostly based around its excellent stations. This is a relaxed and cosmopolitan area with lots of cafes and excellent pubs all around. Good restaurants are found near here, with a wide range of cuisines reflecting the very multicultural background of the area. The area is very close to the pretty Roundwood Park and the excellent, beautiful Willesden Cemetery is one of the best in London for walks. There are two or three brilliant sports grounds, and the gorgeous Queen's Park is very nearby.
Roads in the area are full of a wide range of housing serving a vast range of different needs. There are great areas of Victorian villas which probably comprise the most sought after property around here - the area is known for the quality of its Victorian houses and justly so. There are also excellent terraces of the same period, whilst between the busy rail lines and the A5 there are good streets with midway houses, mostly semidetached. Most properties around here are excellent, and there are brilliant houses, flats and conversions everywhere you look.
A serious contender if you're after Victorian conversions or houses, and excellent local resources and transport make Willesden a good place to look for the young commuter and those looking for a bit of inner city feel, but in the most relaxing of contexts.
