Letting Agents in Neasden London NW2
Area Comments
Busy, very cosmopolitan and a great choice for the family, Neasden is a great value location with a wide variety of housing alternatives.
Neasden has a wealth of shopping and access that make it a good bet for anyone looking for a bargain. Near to the famous Brent Cross centre, as well as Staples Corner (a large shopping precinct), it's also within five minutes' drive of IKEA. The area has plenty of local pubs and restaurants, and in general exudes a friendly and relaxed aura. Landmarks include the largest Hindu Temple outside India, the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir.
Property here is affordable and provides great space for minimal cash. There are a huge number of mid-war properties, mainly mid-war semis; over in Dollis Hill, the properties afford excellent views over the city, and its proximity to Cricklewood offers a greater feeling of gentility. The nearby Gladstone Park is the epicentre of the area's more upmarket property which includes a good sprinkling of very fine Edwardian houses. Although the area is known for its small-medium semis, there are in these properties also a good number of conversions, making Neasden both perfect for the young family and for the budget-conscious professional.
