Tenants in flats to rent in Bromley offered Christmas shopping help
Tenants occupying flats to rent in the London borough of Bromley may benefit from the extra parking spaces that have been made available in the town centre in time for the festive period.
Bromley Council announced the Civic Centre car park will have 200 more bays from December 6th until January 10th, to make it easier for people to do their Christmas shopping.
Stephen Carr, leader of the council, said: "We hope that the extra spaces will entice people to come and see all that Bromley has to offer, including our festive activities and Christmas market."
The markets will be accessible to residents in the High Street from December 10th and will be open every day up until Christmas Eve.
Mr Stephen added the council has a long-term vision for the borough and wants to make Bromley an enticing place for shoppers in order to support the local economy.
Earlier this month, owner of Leonard Provence Interiors Janet Eaverson offered some Christmas decoration advice and suggested fairy lights as a cheap and effective way to deck a home out for the holiday season.
