The overall feel is one of relaxed country living - more than almost anywhere else this feels like a true English village inside London. The duck pond and the park, as well as the presence of the College, shield the area, seal it off, and make Dulwich feel a world away from London, whilst actually being very convenient for everywhere in South London, or indeed for town.

Dulwich and East Dulwich are very different places, but both share a brilliant quality of life - expressed in very different ways.
