New £80m regeneration scheme for London
Catesby Property Group and Bank of Scotland have launched a new London-focusing regeneration arm, it has emerged.
The £80 million joint venture is known as Catesby Regeneration and will centre on regenerating the housing market in the British capital and the wider south-east.
New developments - residential, student and affordable homes - will be built on brownfield sites and the enterprise already has "substantial" funding in place to buy appropriate sites, reports Property Week News.
Established in 1996, Catesby is a residential and commercial developer with specialist expertise in regeneration projects and sustainable mixed-use schemes.
Paul Brocklehurst, Catesby group chief executive, told the publication: "We are keen to build on the successful business established to date and extend the Catesby brand into London and the south-east."
Catesby has previously said it is willing to work with local authorities, community groups and economic development agencies to push forward with regeneration plans.
