Premier Letting Agents in Isle of Dogs London E14
Area Comments
The spiritual centre of London's Docklands, the Isle of Dogs is nearly separated from the banks of the Thames, only accessible by bridge. The Isle is home to some of the biggest powerhouses of the UK economy, and some of the most powerful and wealthy people in Europe work here.
For much of the 20th Century of course the Isle of Dogs was in decline. Industrial and shipping usage had plummeted and the area was depressed. From the 1980s of course this began to reverse and now, the Isle of Dogs is home to some of the biggest financial institutions in Britain.
Properties in the Isle of Dogs - the true island - are mostly in the form of flats. There are few, if any, houses to be had in an area of this level of development where space is at such a premium. And by flats, really we mean "palaces" - for the Isle of Dogs is a showcase of some of the most stunning apartments in London. These are pied a terre for the wealthy and time-conscious workers in the huge trading institutions, with areas like Discovery Dock, West India Key and Pan Peninsula home to truly beautiful and often massive developments of apartments.
Facilities in the Isle of Dogs are second to none. The financial sector often work where they play, and the beautiful development of Canary Wharf - as well as areas such as West India Dock and others - is one filled with places to eat and drink, to party and to shop. Excellent bars are always filled, seriously good restaurants offer wonderful views of the river; there are cinemas as well on West India Dock. Almost anything you might want to do, is yours to do day or night in the spectacular, opulent, almost science-fiction landscape of the Isle of Dogs.

Docklands: Dock in at your new place or it will not get put into Docklands on Net-lettings
The once much-maligned London Docklands is fast making a reputation for itself as a residential hub, as well as the centre of the UK's financial economy. Once the largest port in the world, the shipping offices and warehouses that once dominated the area have largely given way to skyscrapers and new-build houses. Huge cranes once used for unloading cargo are now motionless in their cradles, but this doesn't mean the area has lost any of the fizz and bustle it possessed while it was a shipping hub.

Canary Wharf: 21st century living
