Fireworks display to be accessed by residents in flats to rent in Waltham Forest?
Residents occupying flats to rent in the London borough of Waltham Forest could visit a fireworks display on November 5th.
Waltham Council will be celebrating the occasion in traditional style, with the show taking place on Chestnut Field behind the Town Hall.
Starting at 20:00 BST, people are asked to arrive at the display in plenty of time as they may have to queue.
Tickets to the show are available on the gate and cost £4 for adults and £3 for under 16s and senior citizens - with under fives getting in for free.
Individuals have been asked to leave their pets at home but may wish to pick up a leaflet available offered by the Blue Cross with some information about keeping animals protected against fireworks.
This year is the 405th anniversary of the gunpowder plot, which recognises the attempt by Guy Fawkes and his co-conspirators to blow up the Houses of Parliament.
Fawkes was found guarding the explosives following the plots discovery, following which he was tortured before he eventually died.
