Barnet to host Diamond Jubilee Festival
A Diamond Jubilee Festival will take place at Barnet's Golders Hill Park.
The event - which is being organised in conjunction with the City of London Corporation - is planned for June 4th and will be a celebration of the 60-year reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
It means festivalgoers could be keeping an eye out for flats to rent in Barnet as they look to enjoy every aspect of the big day.
Live music, children's entertainers and community stalls will be on offer and so all of the family will be able to have a good time.
Councillor David Longstaff, cabinet member for safety and resident engagement, remarked: "The [festival] is going to be a fantastic event which will provide Barnet residents with a great day out on their doorstep to mark this very special year in the history of our nation."
He added as many people as possible should come along to soak up the live music and entertainment on offer.
