Health tips to be offered to people in flats to rent in Southwark
People looking for ways to improve their lifestyle in flats to rent in the London borough of Southwark may decide to attend a session being held to help them eat better and get fitter.
The Let's Be Healthy In Peckham event is taking place tomorrow (December 7th) at 18:00 GMT at Bells Garden Community Centre.
"I want to help make the borough fitter and healthier. A little exercise and a healthier diet can make a huge difference to people's lives. It's not as hard as it can sound," said councillor Dora Dixon-Fyle.
She added that the purpose of the meeting is to show that a big difference can be made by taking small steps.
Councillor Cleo Soanes, Peckham Community Council chair stated the session demonstrates the impact a variety of local groups can have when they come together to tackle a common problem.
In other news which may be of interest to people in flats to rent in Southwark, former Olympian and world cycling champion Tony Doyle MBE is linking up with Southwark Council to form the borough's very own Olympics team.
