Council campaign could improve life for tenants living in flats to rent in Lambeth
A scheme designed to create a safer community to live in could benefit tenants occupying flats to rent in the London borough of Lambeth.
Lambeth Council announced the launch of the BIG Difference Community Safety campaign on October 25th, which is designed to encourage individuals to be aware of their surroundings and actions.
By doing this, community members can keep their possessions, homes and the area they live in safe and protected.
"The [project] highlights actions that each of us can do on a daily basis that would make a big difference to Lambeth, to make it a safer and more enjoyable place to live," the council stated.
There are four main points to the movement, including keeping valuables safe at all times, travelling safely in the area and reporting any anti-social behaviour.
Earlier this month, Harrow Council revealed it was extending a scheme designed to clamp down on anyone causing public nuisance in the Wealdstone area.
