People looking for flats to rent in Greenwich may wish to act quickly
People looking to take out a tenancy on a flat to rent in the London borough of Greenwich may want to sign on the dotted line at the soonest possible opportunity if they find a property.
Writing in The Telegraph, Jacquelin Magnay said demand for a place to live is already outstripping supply in the area due to the impact of the Olympics.
She noted that Estate Agents are raising the prices of rented accommodation within half an hour of venues that will host Olympic sports in 2012.
According to the news source, a one bedroom establishment could cost more than £2,000 a week, meaning people looking for flats to rent in the area may want to act sooner rather than later.
Those who are searching for a property to take out a tenancy were recently offered advice by lovemoney.co.uk's John Fitzsimmons, who stated it is a requirement by law that a deposit is put into a protection scheme by landlords, but some may still be reluctant to do so.
