Richmond locals asked to share views on library
People living in property to rent in the London borough of Richmond are being asked to share their views on how one of their local libraries could be improved.
Richmond Council wants to hear from residents in the Whitton and Heathfield areas, which are near to the Whitton Library building.
Councillor Pamela Fleming, the council's cabinet member for communities, said: "Now that Heathfield Library has closed, we want to ensure that the nearby Whitton Library provides services in a building that users enjoy using and utilise frequently."
She said that she wants to know what people would like to change about the library, such as the layout, furniture, access and signage.
Ms Fleming said the council cannot promise to do everything that is suggested, but would try its best.
Heathfield Library in Percy Road closed on March 17th and a new Whitton Health Centre is to be built in its place.
