Richmond 'a great borough for walking fans'
Richmond-Upon-Thames is a fantastic location for walking fans.
The area boasts over 160 parks and open green spaces, so there are plenty of options for those keen to escape the hullabaloo of London city centre.

Virginia Morris, Richmond Council's cabinet member for environment, stated: "Spring time always encourages people to enjoy the great outdoors more and there are plenty of spots where people can have a stroll in the borough."
She continued by saying the best part is all of the routes are free to use, while an additional £3 million is to be invested in the next three years in the green infrastructure of the area.
Her comments come after a study by the University of Stirling revealed that walking is good for a person's mental health as it helps them to beat mild depression.
