Wandsworth residents to get involved in art exhibition
Those living in property to rent in the London borough of Wandsworth are being urged to get involved in an exhibition at the Pump House Gallery.
Independent curator Nick Aikens is arranging an exhibition at the venue and is seeking input from the borough's residents.
Set to be called A Future Pump House: Ideas, Thoughts and Plans, the exhibition will take place from July 28th to September 25th.
Those interested in being involved are being asked to submit a text of up to 300 words that offers ideas for the future of the gallery.
"You may wish to illustrate ideas with photos or drawings if it is easier to convey your thoughts this way," a statement from Wandsworth Council reads.
The closing date for entries is May 13th.
People living in the borough who are planning on arranging a street party to celebrate the royal wedding have been informed by the council that they have until Monday (April 18th) to apply to the town hall for a road closure.
