Sutton residents enjoy new recreation ground
People living in flats to rent in the London borough of Sutton can now enjoy the revamped Hamilton Avenue Recreation Ground.
The ground now features improved play areas and a newly landscaped park.
Councillor Graham Tope, executive member for community safety, libraries and leisure at Sutton Council, said: "Green spaces are very important to our residents, so the improved park and play facilities will give the area a real boost."
He went on to say that the new park will allow locals to access outdoor space and will also provide wildlife with a new habitat.
Not only this, but the park will help to protect property to rent and owner-occupied housing from flooding.
Sutton residents are today (May 5th) being warned that there has been a flood at Royston Park Pavilion, Carshalton, which was due to be used as a polling station in the vote on the UK's voting system.
People can vote at Carshalton Sports College, Winchcombe Road, instead.
