Epsom and Ewell leisure centre revamp completed
Residents of flats to rent in Epsom and Ewell can now gain access to new facilities at Rainbow Leisure Centre, which has just completed a £1 million refurbishment project.
The nine-month initiative has seen the centre receive a complete overhaul of its gym area, including the installation of 140 new pieces of advanced equipment, such as the high-tech Kenesis resistance kit.
Elsewhere, a new spa facility called Spa London has been introduced, offering four treatment rooms, a relaxation area and a steam room, as well as hamman seating and a monsoon shower.
Changing rooms have been updated with new lockers, benches and showers, while dedicated areas for aerobiking, yoga, tai chi and Pilates have also been added.
Jan Mason, chairman of Epsom and Ewell Council's leisure committee, said: "The recent refurbishment at the Rainbow Leisure Centre offers fantastic facilities and we hope that the centre will become even more popular with local people."
The site is also now offering trampoline sessions for children and young people with learning disabilities, a scheme which commenced this month.
