30 places available at Merton primary school
Some 30 extra places are available at Wimbledon Park Primary School, families seeking property to rent in the London borough of Merton may be interested to learn.
The Office of the Schools Adjudicator has ruled that, from September of this year, the school can offer 30 extra reception year places.
Head teacher of Wimbledon Park Primary School Paul Lufkin said: "This decision will mean that we will be able to offer an education to some of the children who may otherwise not have found a school within reasonable distance from their homes."
He went on to say that the school looks forward to welcoming more children in the next academic year.
Wimbledon Park Primary School has a 104-place nursery that takes children aged three and four in two groups for half-day sessions.
The school boasts a large hall and dining area, along with a library, music room, two computer suites, a large administrative area, medical room, kitchen and a drama studio that doubles as an infant PE hall.
