London Areas starting with D
Dalston - E8
Dalston has enjoyed something of a status renaissance, with fast hiking prices for its largest Victorian properties. Sandringham Road and Colvestone Crescent are good places to start, running parallel to the famous Ridley Road market and featuring some of the more sought after four storey terraces in the area.
Denmark Hill - SE5
Denmark Hill is an interesting mix of old and new, up-and-coming and worn out, expansive parks and equally expansive council estates. Gentrification is definitely in the air and there are some really lovely properties to be had on attractive leafy streets.
Deptford - SE8
Handy for the City, close to Greenwich and Millenium Dome
Docklands - E1 , E14
Exciting modern redevelopment of Docklands waterfront area. Part of prestigious extension to City financial district, for which it is very handy.
Dulwich - SE21
Village atmosphere, wide selection of housing stock, plenty of open spaces / parks. Good range of shops, bars and restaurants
